OUR MISSION

To display the supreme worth of Jesus on the final frontiers of the Great Commission through equipping the Body, making disciples and multiplying New Testament churches to the ends of the earth.

OUR MANDATES
Establishing Foundations Where There Are None

In Romans 15:20, Paul reveals his ambition to lay foundations where there are none. As a Great Commission family, we carry the burden of Paul’s heart to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom to peoples who have not had a personal or tangible witness of Jesus Christ. As long-term cross-cultural laborers, we work to lay foundations for the Gospel among the final frontiers of the Great Commission where less than 2% of a people cluster are known to be born again disciples of Jesus.

Frontier Intercession and Mobilization
Intercession

We believe that worship and prayer is not only a means of advancing the Gospel, but the end for which the Gospel is to be advanced. Many of the regions with the highest concentrations of unengaged peoples are known to be “graveyards of missionaries.” The spiritual and cultural landscape of these regions are often hostile to Jesus and those who proclaim the Gospel of His Kingdom. We believe that sustained prayer, intercession, and worship on the frontiers of the Great Commission opens closed doors and establishes spiritual highways for the Gospel to advance. Samuel Zwemer said it best, “The history of missions is the history of answered prayer. All human means are secondary.” With this in mind, we labor in Holy Spirit inspired prayer to destroy strongholds and open new roads for the Gospel to advance (2 Corinthians 10:4).

Mobilization

We lay foundations for mobilization of international and indigenous cross-cultural workers in metropolitan cities and strategic international cross-roads of the earth. Advocacy, awareness and mobilization of the next generation of Great Commission cross-cultural witnesses is at the heart of all of our work.

Multiplying Disciples and Local Expressions

Jesus commissioned his followers to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). Our family has been sent to equip the Body of Christ to make disciples who make disciples. Faith in Jesus comes by hearing the Gospel (Romans 10:17), while disciples are made in healthy biblical community (Acts 2:42-47). We equip new disciples to study the Word of God, fearlessly proclaim the Gospel, and form New Testament churches.

Publishing His Work Among the Nations

Our publishing efforts serve to resource and encourage those who have the Gospel, while we labor to reach those who do not. All media released by ClarkStory is purposed to bring glory to the name of Christ and is in no way designed to publicize or promote the ministry God has entrusted to us. Psalm 96:3 is the scriptural anchor and inspiration behind our publishing initiatives: “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!”

Our four mandates serve to support our primary mission: to build foundations among the frontiers of Christ's Commission (Romans 15:20) by proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples (Matthew 28:19-20) and establishing self-replicating biblical communities within the rhythms of everyday life.
